Eco Council Beach Clean The Eco-council undertook a beach clean at Torcross armed with litter-pickers, bags and gloves. The storms and tides of recent weeks left a good amount of litter on the beach but not as much as they expected, and a great deal of it would probably be what we know as micro-plastic waste which is much harder to see. The team felt that they would like to visit again when the tourist season has started to see if the levels of litter are any greater. Miss Ramsden said the children were very responsible and well behaved and that it was a pleasure to take them on this local trip. Well done!
