The children had a fabulous day at Forest and Beach on Thursday. The sun was shining in the clear blue skies, we had Bacon rolls on arrival, followed by a tour of the site where we saw the Skylars flying above us. At lunchtime, we walked down to the beach for a picnic and a little explore of the coastline. 

In the afternoon, we headed back to base where children took turns to relax in hammocks while others made fires and bandannas! They learnt new skills in how to build dens and make fires, they even tried their hand at archery!!

To end the day, we had a delicious supper which was cooked in the fire cage - it's safe to say we all went home with full tummies and smiling faces!
